Try it at low Gain settings with Bite turned up for chimey edge of breakup, or with Level dimed for an out-of-control 'amp-on-10' sound. The way you combine the Gain \u0026amp; Level knobs will fundamentally shape the tone of your Dirtdog as it pushes your amp differently.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003emore than tone\u003cbr\u003eThe Bite knob handles the pedal's treble response, so what does Tone knob do? Tone broadly shifts the midrange voice of the pedal from a snarlier, punchier sound to the right to a chewier, scooped sound to the left.
