When Ibanez shocked the world and released the first 7-string electric guitar 30 years ago, little did anyone realize then just how much the instrument would change guitar-driven music forever. Korn were arguably the first musical act to take these instruments and realize their full sonic potential, shaping a sound that would be responsible for creating whole new movement in music.
