The Yamaha curved head joint is to be used with the 200 series student line flutes. Made from nickel silver and finished in silver plate, these head joints are designed to produce the best sound with minimal effort.Created for very young players who have difficulty holding a traditional straight head flute due to its length, this head joint brings the keys closer to the lip plate making playing much more comfortable and giving a more natural playing position.

The curved head joint comes with a special case cover to accommodate the standard flute case with a special hard shell pocket on the outside, housing the curved head when not in use. The case cover accommodates all standard 200 series flute cases making it conveniently work as one.
