Little Lightning Devices SALTWATER Harmonic / Optical Tremolo
Little Lightning Devices are hand built here in Canberra, Australia.
SALTWATER is a optical tremolo featuring 2 modes: Harmonic and Standard. In standard mode the signal is cut by an optical circuit to provide a choppy clean tremolo effect. In harmonic mode, the signal is split between 2 alternating high pass and low pass filters to provide a lush warbling tremolo effect similar to old 50s/60s brown panel amps. The pedal also has a volume control which allows you to push the volume above normal levels, as with most tremolo effects it can seem like there is a volume drop when engaged due to the nature of the effect. With this you could even run the pedal as a clean boost with the depth set at minimum.
Controls are:
Shape: changes the ramp/shape of the wave from sawtooth to square wave
Rate: sets the speed of the effect, from slow pulse to super fast chop
Depth: sets the mix or level of the tremolo effect
Level: controls the volume, allowing you to surpass unity volume if required.
Please note - this pedal runs on standard 9v DC only (not included)
