Union Series overview:

From the Civil War to today, we’ve been making drums designed to send a message. The Union Series is the only modern kit made of tulipwood, the same type of wood we used to make marching drums for the Union army. These drums have a focused, clear attack with a traditional vintage tone that is well controlled whether played hard or soft. And while the wood is a throwback, their modern construction, hardware and hand-cut edges create a well-balanced and versatile sound, giving you the ability to cover a wider range of the musical spectrum with just one kit.

SHELLS
Tulip ply shells with graduating thickness that increases as the size of the shell increases. Hand-cut 30° edges with rounded counter cut.

FINISH
Available in all our standard and custom color options.

HARDWARE
Standard Noble & Cooley cast lugs in chrome or black. Tube hardware available as an upgrade in polished brass, chrome, or black nickel.

RIMS
Triple flanged in either chrome or black. Brass hoops, Die cast hoops, and wood hoops available as an upgrade.

MOUNTS
Toms 13” and below come with Coolmounts and suspenders, mounted on the bottom of batter side lugs for optimal resonance (can be mounted on top of lugs by request). Floor tom brackets and legs come standard for toms 14” and above.

HEADS
Choice of Remo or Evans heads.

N&C BRAND
Signature hex shape badge available in brass or silver. Painted and Reveal logos are available as an upgrade. Suspended Toms have the option of placing the logo “centered” or in the “lower position” below the suspension mount.
