Taylor Jacob Collier Academy 22e 5-String
Building on Taylor's partnership with award-winning singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Jacob Collier, the Jacob Collier Academy 22e 5-String brings the custom DAEAD tuning that Jacob loves to more players than ever. This signature model is a compact Grand Concert acoustic-electric featuring a solid walnut top with layered walnut back and sides, serving up a warm, woody midrange tone with a clear treble range and plenty of presence in the low end, beautifully complementing the harmonic possibilities that come with the unique tuning intervals. Adding to its accessible feel is a built-in beveled armrest that offers a smooth surface for your strumming arm, while the slender Taylor neck makes fretting a breeze. Subtle visual details include a three-ring Baltic birch rosette, 4mm dot inlays in mother of pearl, nickel tuning machines, and a matte finish. It ships with Fishman Presys VT Sonitone electronics for rich plugged-in sound and includes a padded gig bag for protection.
