Bad Cat PurePath Passive Analog DI / Cab Simulator
Designed by amp guru Bruce Egnater, Purepath features an all-new reactive load that physically simulates the movement and dynamic behaviour of a real guitar speaker. Unlike conventional resistive or digitally modelled loads, Purepath allows the amp to respond naturally, preserving that all-important feel, touch sensitivity, and output-stage interaction.
The integrated analogue cabinet DI is voiced to deliver a big, forward, punchy guitar sound that sits naturally in a mix. Connected to an audio interface, PA system or full-range monitors, it delivers a more cabinet-like response than traditional IR or DSP based solutions, with immediate attack and realistic dynamics.
Purepath has no IRs, menus, or software - it doesn’t even need a power supply.
It’s the zero-fuss solution for players who want to go direct, without losing natural, authentic amp feel.
