Guild B-140E Acoustic Bass - Natural
When it’s time to play “unplugged”—the choice is always Guild.
In the world of acoustic bass guitars, Guild has established a legacy of their own. Through iconic acoustic bass performances such as Krist Novoselic’s Nirvana Unplugged or Nathan East’s melodic lines in Clapton Unplugged—the pros chose Guild for the big stage.
Guild redefined acoustic bass guitars in the mid-1970s with the introduction of the B-50, based on the ever-popular Guild jumbo shape. The B-140E Natural carries on this tradition, providing an impressively loud tone that can be easily amplified with its Guild/Fishman BT-1 Pickup System. Built with a solid Sitka spruce top, and solid African mahogany back and sides, the B-140E Natural features a bone nut and saddle, and mother-of-pearl rosette. This model also has a 1½” nut width on a vintage shaped Guild neck, iconic Chesterfield headstock emblem reminiscent of 1960s Guilds, period-correct tortoiseshell pickguard, and Guild’s new premium acoustic gig bag.
