Schagerl " James Morrison" Jazz M1 Trumpet (SLJM-1)

No less a figure than James Morrison was the force behind the developing of this trumpet model. Lacquer or gold finish: this is a trumpet which is perfect even for professional needs. The combination of its gold-brass bell, the “reversed leadpipe“-Design and a double-walled leadpipe made of Sterlingsilver allow easy response, remarkable intonation and a focused, fat sound with brilliant timbre. Only an instrument with these features deserves to bear the name of James Morrison.

There are two JM Academica trumpet models (JM1 and JM2) that are both available in Lacquer or Silver plate. The JM1 is a lighter, brighter horn that suits jazz and lead work. The JM2 is heavier and a little darker in sound, more for orchestral work. Both of them have superb response and are very ‘free blowing’.
